Benchmarks for c4.large (AWS)

Individual CPU benchmark results for the AWS EC2 instance type c4.large. The table displays the single-threaded CPU speed as reported by the Passmark benchmark tool, as well as the on-demand, spot pricing, and spot interruption percentage.

See the benchmarks for all EC2 instances.

✅ This instance type is available for self-hosted GitHub Actions runners using RunsOn.

EC2 Instance family: c4

CPU Type: Intel Xeon E5-2666 v3 (Haswell), 2.9 GHz base frequency with Intel Turbo Boost up to 3.5 GHz.

Specific Features: Compute-optimized instance family. Features include EBS-optimized by default at no extra cost, providing dedicated throughput from 500 Mbps up to 4,000 Mbps, and Enhanced Networking for higher PPS performance and lower network latency. C4 is considered a "Previous Generation" instance, but is still fully supported.

Date of Release: January 11, 2015.
