Benchmarks for c6gd.large (AWS)
Individual CPU benchmark results for the AWS EC2 instance type c6gd.large
. The table displays the single-threaded CPU speed as reported by the
Passmark benchmark tool, as well as the on-demand, spot pricing, and spot
interruption percentage.
See the benchmarks for all EC2 instances.

EC2 Instance family: c6gd
The Amazon EC2 c6gd instance type is powered by AWS Graviton2 processors, which are based on 64-bit Arm Neoverse cores and custom silicon designed by Amazon Web Services for optimized performance and cost. These compute-optimized instances deliver up to 40% better price performance compared to C5 instances for various compute-intensive workloads. The c6gd instances are built on the AWS Nitro System, which enhances security and maximizes resource efficiency by offloading virtualization functions to dedicated hardware. They offer enhanced networking with up to 25 Gbps of bandwidth and up to 19 Gbps of bandwidth to Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS).
A key feature of the c6gd instances is their inclusion of local NVMe-based SSD block-level storage, providing high-speed, low-latency access for applications requiring fast local storage, with some configurations offering up to 3.8 TB of NVMe SSD storage. The Graviton2 processors also incorporate security features such as always-on 256-bit DRAM encryption. The c6gd instance type was released in July 2020.
