EC2 Instance family: m6i
CPU type: 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (code-named Ice Lake) with an all-core turbo frequency of 3.5 GHz. Specific features: General-purpose instance offering up to 15% better price/performance than M5 instances. Supports up to 50 Gbps networking and 40 Gbps bandwidth to Amazon EBS. Features always-on memory encryption (Intel Total Memory Encryption) and supports Intel Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX 512). Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) is supported on the largest size. Date of release: August 2021.
