EC2 Instance family: r7i
CPU type: Custom 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Sapphire Rapids).
Specific features: Next-generation memory-optimized instance (8:1 memory to vCPU ratio), up to 15% better price-performance than R6i, uses DDR5 memory, supports Intel Advanced Matrix Extensions (AMX), and allows up to 128 EBS volumes. Bare metal sizes support Intel Data Streaming Accelerator (DSA), In-Memory Analytics Accelerator (IAA), and QuickAssist Technology (QAT).
