RunsOn handled 1.64 million GitHub Actions jobs in a single day
RunsOn reached a new milestone with 1.64 million GitHub Actions jobs handled in a single day.
RunsOn handled 1.64 million GitHub Actions jobs in a single day on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
That is about 19 fresh EC2 runners every second, all day. Each job gets an ephemeral runner, runs in the customer’s AWS account, then disappears.
That is the whole update.
RunsOn has gone from 990k jobs in January, to 1.36M in March, to 1.64M now.
Thank you to every team running GitHub Actions on RunsOn.
If your GitHub Actions setup is getting expensive, slow, or hard to reason about, RunsOn lets you run ephemeral runners in your own AWS account with the instance types, networking, and observability you actually need.
