RunsOn just crossed two million daily jobs for the first time: 2.13 million GitHub Actions jobs in a single day.
That is roughly 24.7 jobs every second, all day. Each job gets a fresh runner in the customer’s AWS account, runs, then disappears.
Our previous record was 1.64 million jobs in May. This new high adds another 490,000 jobs per day: a 30% increase in a little over two months.
Back in January, we were just short of one million. Daily volume has more than doubled since then.
The number is fun, but the architecture behind it matters more. This is not one giant shared runner fleet. RunsOn launches the compute inside each customer’s own AWS account, with their networking, instance types, and security boundaries.
